The International Tech MBA with concentration in Data Science is a unique program to lead the businesses of tomorrow. Offered in collaboration with Walsh College and INSOFE, this program is specially designed for Techno-managerial aspirants.
This Tech MBA will help you earn a specialization in business analytics from INSOFE for which students will also receive a Case Western Reserve University certification.
Following the completion of data science coursework, students will travel to Walsh College to gain an expertise in business management.
You will be trained by world class faculty in areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other core data science courses along with gaining an in-depth understanding of organizational leadership, managerial roles, and accounting.
This STEM recognised MBA will make graduates eligible for a 3 year OPT* in the USA.

All candidates who complete the PGP in Business Analytics certification (with a grade of B or higher) and the MBA degree from Walsh College will be placed in a job after graduation and have their work permits* processed accordingly.

Yes, you can! You do not need prior experience in programming or a background in computer science to apply to the International Tech MBA at Walsh College. INSOFE will provide training in the foundations of data science and programming for one semester prior to sending you to Walsh College.
I do not have any work experience; can I apply to do the International Tech MBA?
The course is designed for students from all educational and professional backgrounds.
Do I need GRE, GMAT, and/or TOEFL?
You do not need GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL scores to apply to this program. However, you need to take the INSOFE entrance examination (INEX), your score on that test will determine your eligibility to the International Tech MBA
What is the eligibility criteria of the International Tech MBA Program?
Applicants must be enrolled as a student in the partnership program with International School of Engineering (INSOFE) in India. An applicant must possess:
- A four year bachelor’s degree completed in India OR
- A three year bachelor’s degree and one year coursework completed in India OR
- A bachelor’s degree or higher equivalent to a U.S. degree with transcripts evaluated by an agency that is a member of NACES (https://www.naces.org/members)
Are there any prerequisites to get into the program?
Walsh College requires that a student have 16 years of formal education when applying to the International Tech MBA. However, there is no restriction on the student’s educational background, it can be in any field of their choice.
How can I apply to the International Tech MBA offered jointly by INSOFE and Walsh College?
Admission to the International Tech MBA is a two stage process in which the student has to first apply to INSOFE before applying to Walsh College.

Will a good INEX score guarantee admission to Walsh College Tech MBA?
In addition to the INEX, students have to send in a separate application to Walsh College along with a statement of purpose, two recommendation letters, and official transcripts. While INSOFE will guide you on the process, admission to the program at Walsh College is subject to the College’s discretion and cannot be guaranteed by INSOFE.
All INSOFE courses must be completed with a grade of “C” (2.000) or better at INSOFE with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.000 from all courses completed to transfer to Walsh College.
What is the duration of the program?
You need to complete 42 credits worth of classes along with two internships to receive the International Tech MBA degree.
The first 18 credits will be offered in India following which you will go to the USA to complete the remainder of the program at Walsh College.
What are the fees for the International Tech MBA?
The entire MBA costs $34,600 USD and is the same fees paid by domestic students in the USA.

The International Tech MBA is a recognized post-graduation program that is eligible for a F1-visa which will be valid for the duration of your study.

What is the job guarantee promised by INSOFE?
You will receive a conditional job offer from an INSOFE Business Partner for the positions of either a Data Science Manager/Analyst in the USA, along with your PGP admission letter.
You will receive a final job offer after you have completed the PGP with a grade of B or higher and graduate with an MBA degree from Walsh College. Failure to comply with any of these terms will result in the offer becoming null.
Will the base salary change?

How do I know if I will receive an offer for a Data Science Manager/Analyst?
Students who receive a grade of A or higher on their PGP will receive an offer as a Data Science Manager while those who receive a grade of B or higher will receive an offer as a Data Science Analyst.
Can I refuse the job offer?
Yes you can, the job offer is non-binding. You are free to find other employment opportunities, however, you need to let INSOFE know in writing 3-months in advance (to the start date on your offer letter) that you are not interested in pursuing the offer made at the time of admission.
Are the classes in person or online?
Due to the current COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, students will complete the INSOFE classes online in their first semester following which they will travel to Walsh College to attend in person classes. However, future INSOFE classes will be conducted in person barring any governmental regulations and restrictions.
All in person classes at both INSOFE and Walsh College will adhere to COVID-19 safety precautions and protocols.
