Congratulations to our latest MS in Engineering cohort flying to the USA

“Over the years, I had nurtured the hope to be able to fly; to handle a machine as it rose higher and higher in the stratosphere was my dearest dream “

-APJ ABDUL KALAM

Congratulations to Siva Prasad, Ajay Shankar, Veerendra Varma, Ajinkyapophale,  Siva Sankar for completing first year of MS in Engineering in India.

upGrad-INSOFE feels very proud and happy to announce that our MS in Engineering (batch of March) students have successfully completed the first year of their program in India and will soon be flying to the Case Western Reserve University campus in Cleveland, Ohio to complete the rest of the program.

This amazing accomplishment by the students is just one step on their journey. The students have equipped themselves with the skills needed to combine data structures and entity relationship models with data science principles and computer programming abilities.

About the MS in Engineering Program:

Now as they fly to Case Western Reserve University, they get to choose one of the 7 specializations – Algorithms & theory, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Computer Networks and Systems, Databases and Data Mining, Security and Privacy, and Software Engineering where they get to indulge in research and co-op opportunities with CWRU’s elite faculty. Eligible students will also get a chance to work in the US after completing their graduation.

The curriculum at upGrad-INSOFE has given the students good hands-on experience by working on different projects, and great knowledge on fundamental principles of computer science, data handling, artificial intelligence, and software architectures.

The Master’s in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence is offered by upGrad-INSOFE in partnership with Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). The objective of this program is to prepare students for careers in the industry by teaching real-world applications of AI and Computer Science.

The 30-credit master’s requirements are split equally between INSOFE and CWRU. The next step is to finish the remaining degree requirements at the Case School of Engineering (USA), once students have gained a comprehensive understanding of disruptive data science concepts at INSOFE (India).

We are excited to see all their accomplishments in the next chapter. The student’s hard work and dedication helped them achieve this accomplishment and they have set up an amazing example for the upcoming batches. We wish them all the best for their future endeavours.
