Jobs and Success at INSOFE

Career Services team at INSOFE helps to ease a student’s career path by providing the right career opportunities. It can be very frustrating when you go around looking for a job and not be able to get through connections. This is where career services make their headway and come to the aid of our students. They help companies hire the right talent and their students the right jobs.

With knowledge and expertise across an exceptionally broad range of sectors, our Career Services team helps students find the very best job, providing not just one but a minimum of three job opportunities to each student. They provide career guidance to recent graduates as well as the alumni.

INSOFE has a sound track record of placing students of various experience groups, ranging from 0 to 12+ years.

A total of 271 students got placed in the last 12 months (averaging to 22 placements every month)!

This indeed depicts the hard work of our students and the sterling Career Services Team, making it one of the world’s best Career Support team.

Let’s have a look at some of our Notable Stats and achievements from last year:

In the last financial year, 570 job opportunities were exhibited to students along with 521 companies interviewing our students. On average, around close to 15 companies interviewed our students every week. There had been 31 recruitment drives across both Hyderabad & Bangalore campus. The companies brought across were start-ups, mid-sized and MNC’s like Uber, BYJUs, Robert Bosch, DXC, ADP, Cognizant, Arcadis, Synchrony Financial etc., We have had campus drives from companies like AppsTek CORP, Centelon etc., and recruiter’s talk from IMPETUS, ARCADIS and so on.

Career Services team’s continuous ad prolonged research to analyze the employment trends both locally and nationally helped our students acquire opportunities from 5 overseas clients – Hong Kong, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and USA.

The team go above and beyond to show multiple opportunities to both technical as well as non-technical students. Some of our non- technical students coming from streams like mechanical, electronics, economics, finance/commerce etc. were successfully placed in reputed companies like DXC, BYJUs, Accenture, Ola, Uber etc., as Data Analyst, Data Engineers, Data Scientists etc.

A student coming from a mechanical background with no prior experience was placed in DXC as a Technology consultant.”

An economics background student seeking to be a Data Scientist was successfully placed in Worley Parsons.”

INSOFE Industry Connect

Knowledge transfer sessions provide students with better problem-solving experience, fill in the knowledge gaps, help maximize efficiency and achieve organizational goals. In the last year, we’ve had quite a good number of Industry Connect Sessions where leaders like Abhijay Datta – VP from Sutherland, Parita Razdan – VP head of analytics from Viacom18 and many more have visited INSOFE to interact with our students. They gave a lot of valuable information on what the current trend in the industry is, what is expected from a student in the real world and how to go about achieving it.

Now the question arises – if students do not have real-time exposure, how are they going to cope up with the interview and the industry expectations?

For that matter, Career services have always encouraged students to take part in Hackathons, Kaggle projects to get themselves exposed to real-time projects in order to be confident enough for an interview. We have in fact had Hackathons being conducted in our own campuses and various other events encouraging students to take part in for their career enhancement and easy placement.

The guidance and dedication of the Career Services team at INSOFE set apart our students from the rest. These achievements depict what a tremendous job Career Services have done throughout the year in placing students as well as extending services far beyond placements.

“Opportunities don’t happen. We create them.”

As we aim to achieve a lot more in the coming year, stay tuned for more updates.
